Trishneet Arora is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of TAC Security, a U.S. cybersecurity company. He was born in 1993 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, and was keenly interested in computers and technology from a young age. Arora started learning about cybersecurity when he was just 19 years old, and he realized that cybersecurity services in India were a considerable need.

2013-2014: TAC Security’s Inception

TAC Security was founded in 2013 by Trishneet Arora, a young entrepreneur passionate about cybersecurity. The company started as a one-person operation, with Trishneet having the vision to train college and university students to build careers in cybersecurity.

2015-2016: Early Growth and Expansion

As TAC Security gained more clients and recognition in the industry, the company started expanding its team and service offerings. In 2015, TAC Security launched its flagship product, ESOF (Enterprise Security in One Framework), a comprehensive cybersecurity solution for large enterprises. The company also expanded its operations to other countries, including the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

In 2016, TAC Security raised Pre-Series “A” funding from Big Bull Mr. Vijay Kedia, backed by the Former Vice President of Cognizant, Subinder Khurana, and won “Startup of the Year” by ASSOCHAM.

2017-2018: Recognitions and Partnerships

In 2017, TAC Security acquired its first significant enterprise client (Airtel) for its services business and was appointed CERT-IN accredited cybersecurity firm. TAC Security received several recognitions for its innovative cybersecurity solutions and contributions to the industry, including being named the “G.Q. Magazine’s 50 Most Influential Young Indians” at the Indian ISLA Awards.

Intending to become the Google of cybersecurity, TAC Security transformed from a services firm into a product-based business in 2018 and created ESOF (Enterprise Security in One Framework). The U.S. State Government became the first foreign client for ESOF when the company was established in the country as “TAC Security Inc” as a C-Corporation.

2019-2020: Cybersecurity Threat Landscape and COVID-19

The year 2019 saw an increase in cybersecurity threats, with more sophisticated and targeted attacks on organizations across the globe. However, TAC won various awards, including Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Deep Tech Startup of the Year” Cyber Security Startup by InfoSec Bridge Products (USA) and Trishneet Fortune Magazine’s 40 Under 40.

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced many organizations to shift to remote work, creating new cybersecurity challenges. TAC Security adapted its services to meet the unique demands and provided cybersecurity assessments.

2021-2022: Continued Growth and Innovation

In 2021, TAC Security continued to grow its client base and expand its services. Trishneet Arora became the youngest entrepreneur to get listed in Fortune Magazine’s 40 Under 40 for the second time in 2021.

The company also partnered with leading cybersecurity companies to provide advanced cybersecurity solutions to clients. With 20 more partners worldwide, Google is one of them. In 2022, the acquisition of Yandex, Russia’s most prominent tech giant, was a client for TAC Security’s ESOF AppSec. This demonstrates the company’s ability to serve and protect the digital assets of some of the world’s largest and most innovative companies. Hence, it solidifies its position as a leader in the cybersecurity industry.

2023: Future Plans

As TAC Security completes decades in business, the company plans to continue its growth and innovation by expanding its operations to new markets and launching new products and services to meet the evolving cybersecurity needs of organizations. The company plans to invest in research and development to stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and provide its clients with the best possible solutions to protect their assets.
